Webb16 nov. 2013 · If trichs are cloudy then I'd chop. A few amber trichs is a sign that the plant is passing peak ripeness (which is what i look for when harvesting). I've seen my pistils turn brown after 4 weeks of flowering so it's not a good way of determining ripeness. Go with the trichs. WebbHairs, or pistils, turn brown because they have NOT been pollinated. They have ended their life cycle, and so they mature out. The plant will keep releasing hairs, even during the last weeks of flowering, as it's still trying to reproduce. Try and fix the problem to get them growing again.
