WebMy now 7-year old daughter did this when she was a baby/toddler, she would show her happiness and excitement by tensing up and patting/slapping her hands to her thighs. She is not autistic and doesn't have Aspberger's, though she does have some small issues. She has some kind of general and slight gross motor delay.
