For skinnier binding use 2-1/4 inch strips & the 1-1/8 sasher tool. One suggestion: a 3/8th inch size. That's the perfect size for ties. 1/2 inch is too big, 1/4 inch is a pain to feed through the sewing machine. 3/8 inch would be perfect.
